For the past 15 years, Travis has been actively involved in the local community, volunteering, serving as an officer, and being a board member for nonprofit organizations of various sizes and missions. He dedicated over a decade to the operations of a specific social services organization, where he played a key role in enhancing a homegrown CRM system to manage the business operations. However, as time passed, this system became outdated and challenging to support.

In 2018, it became evident that the existing legacy systems were inadequate to meet the growing needs of the organization. This marked the beginning of an 18-month pro bono project with the sole purpose of designing, creating, implementing, and supporting an all-in-one solution to significantly enhance the charity’s operational efficiency beyond their expectations.

During the initial stages of the planning process, the team discovered numerous off-the-shelf programs available in the market. However, none of them fully met the organization’s specific system requirements. This realization prompted the team to develop the new application in a way that could also be leveraged for potential resale opportunities.
